Your Impact as a Human Resource Specialist
In this role, you will:
- Manage Employee Data: Enter new hires, pay rate changes, and termination information into the system for all employees.
- Support Recruitment Efforts: Review applications and resumes, evaluate applicant skills, and make recommendations regarding candidate qualifications.
- Advise on HR Policies: Provide guidance to managers, supervisors, and employees on HR policies and best practices.
- Assist with Payroll & Records Management: Address payroll-related inquiries, advise departments on HR procedures, and maintain accurate employee records.
- Coordinate Employment Actions: Provide information and consultation on transfers, promotions/demotions, reductions-in-force, placements, and independent contractor status.
- Facilitate Employee Recognition: Oversee employee events to ensure alignment with Employee Recognition Guidelines.
- Maintain HR Programs and Compliance: Prepare, maintain, and monitor personnel and risk management programs/files.
- Perform Administrative Support: Compose confidential correspondence, create spreadsheets, and manage data entry tasks.
- Ensure Policy Compliance: Interpret, apply, and explain company policies as well as state and federal labor laws.
- Maintain Accurate Documentation: Organize and manage personnel records to ensure compliance and accessibility.

- Has a minimum of 2 years of Human Resources and/or Payroll experience.
- Possesses strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with employees at all levels.

- Can handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
