As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you play an integral part in our Engineering Team, taking charge of crafting, evolving, and safeguarding the backend infrastructure that drives our mobile and web platforms. You'll work in concert with engineers, designers, product managers, and customers to ensure our offerings are robust, high-performing, and secure. Your role specifically involves :
- Engaging with stakeholders to collect needs, shape the project scope, and craft technical plans.
- Architecting, programming, and upkeeping backend systems that boast reliability, scalability, and robust security measures.
- Spearheading the creation and deployment of sophisticated backend functionalities and services, while working in tandem with QA, DevOps, PMs, and frontend engineers to smooth out the development lifecycle.
- Authoring code that's not only of high caliber but also documented thoroughly and built for ease of maintenance, adhering to the gold standards of the industry.
- Building extensive test coverage across the board, which includes unit and integration testing.
- Incorporating backend functionalities that are fully instrumented and monitored to preempt technical mishaps and optimize performance.
- Keeping abreast of the latest backend technologies and methodologies.
- Educating, guiding, and upskilling fellow software engineers.
