Creative STEAM is a team of dedicated educators who are passionate about inspiring young minds and fostering a love of learning through STEAM education. We provide small group learning environments funded by community partners to empower students from TK to 8th grade with skills in various subjects.
Job Description:
As a part-time 4th Grade History and/or Science Class Teacher at Creative STEAM, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and fostering a dynamic learning environment. You will work two days per week, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, and focus on creating engaging curricula and lesson plans that align with state standards and meet ICAN requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Curriculum Development and Elementary Education Skills: Proven experience in designing and implementing engaging curricula that meet state standards and ICAN requirements.
- Teaching Experience: At least 2 years of experience in teaching elementary history and/or science subjects.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated Ability to Create Engaging Learning Experiences: Proven ability to create detailed project and lesson plans that stimulate student interest and facilitate in-depth understanding of history and/or science topics.
- Passion for Fostering Exploration and Discovery: A passion for inspiring young minds and fostering a love of learning through STEAM education.
- Ability to Work Collaboratively: Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and staff to support student success and inclusive educational practices.
