Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated educator to join our team as a part-time 4th Grade History and/or Science Class Teacher. This on-site role involves working two days per week, from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, focusing on providing instructional excellence and fostering a dynamic learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Curriculum Development: Design and implement engaging and effective curricula that align with state standards, Common Core guidelines, and meet ICAN requirements.
- Project and Lesson Planning: Create detailed project and lesson plans that stimulate student interest and facilitate in-depth understanding of history and/or science topics through a Project Based Hands-On Learning approach.
- Instruction: Deliver high-quality instruction in elementary history and/or science subjects, adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs.
- Communication Facilitation: Encourage open communication with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success and inclusive educational practices.
- Inclusive Learning Environment: Cultivate a classroom that welcomes all learners, promoting creativity, critical thinking, and a passion for discovery.
