What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Data Architect position at CreatorIQ?
Lead Data Architect (Socialedge, Inc. dba CreatorIQ; Culver City, California) : Consult with other data architects for compliance with enterprise data design and maintenance. Develop, maintain, and approve data models. Coordinate with database administrators on the physical construction of databases for projects and maintenance activities. Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture for compliance with strategic enterprise direction. Provide advanced technical support in the research, experimentation, business analysis, and use of systems technology including architecture, integration capabilities, and database management. Coordinate and lead data activities in support of projects in the development of enterprise systems. Translate the logical design to a physical design and implement database. Perform database tuning and performance at a server and database level. Provide required data integrity and recoverability for the business. Set standards and control the necessary infrastructure process associated with the database(s) of the enterprise. Assist in troubleshooting and technical system support for the application development group. Provide weekly and monthly reports on system problems and their solutions, as well as assist in forecasts of future utilization and equipment requirements. Assist in all of the activities of the data management group including database design, data dictionary management, system management, system programming, and troubleshooting. Coordinate with the personnel of the data management, application development, and distributed systems groups. Provide technical leadership to IT and the enterprise, especially on issues relating to future Information Technology modernization and / or expansion and Data Architecture directions and transitions. Develop strategy as it relates to the organization's IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, and communication systems). Create processes and standards / policies for the selection, implementation, and support of IT systems and security. Lead continuous improvements in all related processes. Oversee Data Base (DB) Department (DB developers, DB Administrators, and DB Analysts). Mentor and build career development plans for direct reports. Lead continuous improvements in all related processes. Monitor following company policies, procedures, and rules by direct reports.
