Reports To : Warehouse Manager Exemption : Non-Exempt
Position Purpose : The Warehouse Specialist supports CCBC by ensuring that all the inventory inside of the four walls of the production facility is present and accounted for and in peek condition. For raw materials, that process starts when product is unloaded and continues until it is put away. For finished goods, the process starts just when the raw materials are pulled from storage to staging and continues until the finished goods are leaving the facility for a distribution center. This is a 2nd shift position, Monday - Friday 12 : 00pm to 8 : 00pm.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Inventory, Storage, and Movement Management :
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Use the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to rotate products, ensuring older stock is used first to maintain product freshness and minimize waste.
- Effectively manage the storage and movement of raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse.
- Ensure optimal organization of inventory to maximize space and efficiency.
- Coordinate with other departments to meet production and distribution needs.
