Creature Control is hiring an Exclusion Repair Technician for Washtenaw County, Michigan. Wildlife control experience is not required however basic construction experience is helpful. We will train and provide all necessary tools for our employees.
Detailed Job Description:
An Exclusion Repair Technician works in a team environment and is responsible for completeing all repair aspects related to nuiscance wildlife control. Common repairs completed on a daily basis may include:
-Installing roof, ridge vent, and chimney caps & covers
-Completing aluminum flashing repairs at roof returns
-Installing animal barriers at ground level around decks, sheds, and structures.
-Installation/placement of traps to control nuiscance wildlife.
-Completing foundation level sealing repairs associated with rodent entry.
- Caulking of linear construction gaps.
-Perform spot cleanups including animal/feces debris.

Position Duties:
- Complete nuiscance wildlife control repairs on homes, properties, and structures.
- Drive and operate a company vehicle to customer sites.
- Enhance knowledge by participating in training opportunities
- Meet requirements for licensing and safety regulations
- Organize workload and complete client jobs promptly
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and a decent driving record
- Career-oriented, long-term focused
- Be personable, have good verbal and writing skills, and have good personal hygiene
- Be an outdoor enthusiast and not be squeamish when working with animals or insects
- Have the agility, physical fitness, and capability to regularly maintain moderate physical activity levels throughout the day, including moving extension ladders
- Not be afraid of heights; having a willingness to work on rooftops is a must
- Be mechanically inclined and good at working with tools - building experience is a bonus
- Work extended hours (sometimes weekends)
