An Associate Commercial Litigation Attorney with 3 years' trial experience is needed in Austin. This Associate Litigator will need to have a background in or be familiar with business litigation, business transactions, business formation, corporate governance, commercial real estate litigation and transactions, and creditor's rights. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in research, writing, and courtroom advocacy, with a proven ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines. This role offers the opportunity to handle all aspects of litigation while working closely with a collaborative team. Transactional experience is a plus but not required.

Associate Commercial Litigation Attorney Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
  • Draft and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs with precision and attention to detail.
  • Manage litigation cases from inception to resolution, ensuring all deadlines are met.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, negotiations, and mediations, demonstrating excellent advocacy skills.
  • Participate in case strategy meetings, contributing to trial preparation and settlement discussions.
  • Assist in negotiations with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties.
  • Handle administrative tasks related to case management, ensuring all documentation is organized and accessible.

Associate Commercial Litigation Attorney Qualifications:

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.
  • 3 years of substantive commercial litigation experience.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Experience drafting legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with litigating cases in various courts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective negotiations.
  • Transactional experience encouraged but not required.
