About The Role
This internship provides a valuable opportunity for individuals seeking hands-on experience in the evolving field of cybersecurity. Working alongside experienced professionals, the intern will contribute to real-world projects while gaining exposure to the latest technologies and best practices in securing critical information assets.
This position is based at Click Therapeutics' headquarters in Tribeca, NYC, within one of the fastest-growing digital health communities. The role follows a hybrid structure, requiring in-office attendance on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Responsibilities
Support security awareness training initiatives and educational programs.
Assist in the implementation and monitoring of security controls and practices.
Contribute to BlackDuck vulnerability assessments and penetration testing efforts.
Research and analyze emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Participate in incident response activities.
Assist in the development and maintenance of security documentation and procedures.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure adherence to security best practices.
Qualifications
Rising sophomore or junior actively pursuing an undergraduate degree in Cybersecurity or a related field.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and concepts.
Familiarity with common security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, intrusion detection systems, vulnerability scanners).
Basic knowledge of networking protocols and operating systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A passion for cybersecurity and a strong desire to learn.
Compensation
$22/hr
Hours And Duration
This is a part-time role, requiring 30 hours per week. The internship will run for 10 weeks, from May 20th to August 1st, 2025.
