About The Role
SSandC is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Boston, MA office. This hybrid role requires commuting to the office at least six times per month while benefiting from telecommuting flexibility. The engineer will work collaboratively with a team of product managers, QA specialists, Scrum Masters, and fellow software engineers to develop high-quality, innovative solutions for SSandC’s clients.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and deliver high-quality code on schedule based on technical design requirements
Participate actively in Scrum activities, including backlog refinement and user story estimation
Contribute to the design and implementation of new features and functionalities
Conduct peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback to teammates
Perform unit testing and automation testing, collaborating with QA engineers to ensure system stability
Diagnose code issues, optimize performance, and provide tier-3 product support
Who You Are
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in object-oriented development
Strong skills in object-oriented design and programming
Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms
Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills
Strong communication abilities and teamwork mindset
