We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated validator to join our validation team in the auto lending industry. As a Senior Analyst of Model Validation and Reporting, you will be validating models used in the company. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical statistical background and experience developing or validating models including different methodologies. This role requires a curious learning mindset to explore new approaches.
Outcomes and Activities :
- This position will work from home; occasional planned travel to an assigned Southfield, Michigan office location may be required. However, this position is permitted to work at a Southfield, Michigan office location if requested by the team member.
- Understand complex programming created as part of the model development and create programming for independent testing.
- Perform independent data pull and review the different validation model components including data, methodology, and model performance.
- Assess if the model meets the business requirements and identify deficiencies.
- Document the validation in a self-contained report.
- Participate in performance monitoring activities.
- Investigate new methodologies used in model development.
- Use products and tools needed for the validation of statistical models.
