Research Assistant
The Financial Health Innovation Lab at Credit Human is seeking a highly motivated and organized research assistant to join our team. This position plays a pivotal role in supporting The Financial Health Innovation Lab. This position is ideal for an individual with a strong research background, attention to detail, an interest in financial health, behavioral science, and data driven decision making. This position includes assisting with research, organizing data, and managing collaboration tools. The research assistant will work closely with team members to ensure smooth operations and contribute to the lab's mission.
Key Responsibilities
o Assist in designing, conducting, and analyzing behavioral science interventions focused on improving financial health. Conducts literature reviews.
o Assist in gathering and organizing data from Credit Human, public sources, and community partners.
o Support the analysis of data to identify trends and insights that inform the FHIL project.
o Support the development and implementation of randomized clinical trials and other experimental methodologies to test financial health interventions.
o Summarize research findings, draft reports, create presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to various audiences.
o Work closely with the FHIL team, their partners and internal Credit Human stakeholders to align research insights with business strategies.
o Help manage and optimize collaboration platforms to enhance team productivity
o Aid the other research assistant as the go to resource for troubleshooting and training team members on collaboration tools as needed.
Qualifications
o Master’s or Bachelor's degree in relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics, Behavioral Science, Public Health or related).
o 1-2 Years of experience and an administrative research or project coordination role (experience in a nonprofit or research setting is a plus).
Skills and Competencies
o Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
o Proficiency in PCs, Google and Microsoft teams, office software and collaboration tools.
o Excellent communication skills both written and verbal ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and interdisciplinary team.
o Interest in financial health, behavioral economics, or community development.
o Research skills including data collection analysis and report preparation.
Preferred Qualifications
o Familiarity with research methods such as literature reviews or data visualization
o Ideally has experience working in clinical trials
o Experience working in community focused projects organization.
