Position Summary :
This position is part of the Enterprise Risk Strategy (“ERS”) department. This position plays a critical role in the management of Issues at the Bank. The Risk Analyst II position is for the “Lead” of the Issues Management Program. The Lead of the Issues Management Program will have daily supervision of Issues identified, tracked, and remediated. The position will handle a case load of Issues. The Lead of the Issues Management will collaborate with various departments to ensure Issues are identified and handled timely. The position will report directly to the SVP of ERS.
Summary Essential Job Functions :
The primary duties of the new position will include the following :
- Handling a caseload of Issues
- Managing SmartSuite (software system for tracking Issues) on a day-to-day basis
- Creation of new Issue files and Problem Tasks
- Ensure the Root Cause Analysis for each Issue is researched and determined
- Ensure the Problem Tasks to implement the Corrective Action Plan are implemented
- Tracking dates for Issues estimated resolution and closure
- Identify and escalate Issues that are outside of estimated timelines for resolution
- Conducting Issues Management training with new hires and departments involved
- Perform in-depth analysis on large data sets and analyze key findings
- Responsible for Issues Reporting – Weekly ERS Issues Management meeting, Bi-weekly EC Meeting, CEO and EC Members monthly, RGC Quarterly, and Audit Committee Quarterly
- Prepare for Audit requests regarding the Issues Management Program
- Prepare for the annual Bank regulatory (OCC) Examination regarding Issues Management
- Responsible for Quality Assurance of the Issues Management Program
- Performs “other” duties as assigned (e.g., Ongoing Monitoring, Critical Process Mapping, Policy Management, and New Products and services Risk Assessments)
