Position Summary
This position as a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis team is primarily focused on analyzing data, supporting ad-hoc financial analysis, and acting as a key resource within the department. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker, highly motivated, and a self-starter. In addition to having a strong understanding of finance and accounting, communication and interpersonal skills are important to work successfully with internal clients and team members.
Summary of Essential Job Functions
- Support the development of monthly deliverables and the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Analyze key business metrics and performance drivers to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
- Conduct financial planning and analysis to uncover growth opportunities and address operational gaps.
- Perform ad-hoc analyses to investigate anomalies, identify root causes, and communicate findings effectively.
- Prepare and take ownership of internal presentations for senior leadership, delivering clear and strategic insights.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a solid understanding of business operations and strategy.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office applications, exceptional proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Possesses strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and departments within the organization.
- Exhibits a strong sense of ownership and accountability, with the ability to build effective partnerships with senior management.
- Thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Skilled in developing and delivering clear, accurate, and well-structured presentations to diverse audiences.
- Planful, PowerBI, and financial services experience preferred but not required.
