Position Summary
Credit One Bank is looking for a Senior Vendor Relationship Manager to drive Collections performance for a top 10 Credit Card issuer. The successful candidate will be responsible for working directly with several agencies that handle pre-charge-off Collections. The responsibilities for the individual in this position also include conducting analysis and using observations to recommend strategy and process improvements, which enhance and evolve our business.
Essential Job Functions :
- Drive performance while overseeing 2-3 agencies that range from 50-700 employees.
- Interact professionally with management of Agency vendors working pre-charged off accounts for the most cost-efficient results within established policy and procedures
- Analyze reports to identify trends and provide direction to vendors for appropriate enhancements to call strategies
- Ability to work independently based on general direction
- Understand the credit card market and continue to evolve our model as the industry and consumer demand changes
- Consistently meet Customer Experience and Compliance standards through use of monitoring process of Agencies
- Provide coaching and feedback of results to internal and vendor management teams
- Interact across all departments within the organization to ensure proper implementation of policy and procedures
- Demonstrate an ongoing comprehensive working knowledge of first party regulations governing the Collections industry
- Develop staff assignments using positive feedback and coaching techniques.
- Effectively communicate with Agencies, both verbal and written. Show exceptional direction and ability to follow up in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned
