Essential Job Functions
- Build and manage a team of top-tier architects & and engineers focusing on technology modernization and re-engineering of the Bank’s IT systems.
- Provide solution conceptual design to projects based on architecture standards, guidelines, and usage patterns ensuring security, scalability, and supportability.
- Oversee the engineering function during the evaluation of concepts including technical risks, architecture, dependencies, and technical aspects of the incubation plan to build and launch into the market.
- Ability to implement on-prem, cloud-based & and hybrid implementation strategies for responsive web and mobile applications and lay the foundation to deliver functional prototypes in weeks not months.
- Support IT leadership functions including annual planning, budgeting, status reporting, presentations, and continuous improvement.
- REST-based microservice APIs and micro-frontends along with a deep understanding of DevOps & CI/CD
- High proficiency with cloud services (e.g.: AWS, GCP) and ability to build, deploy and scale hybrid-infrastructure platforms.
- Proficiency with JS frameworks (e.g.: React, Angular, NodeJS), SQL and NoSQL DBMS (e.g.: SQL Server, Postgresql, Mysql, Oracle, Elastic), Object-oriented development (e.g.: Java, Node.js, or .NET/C#)
- Forecast and manage finances for large IT programs.
- Keep current with trends and issues in the IT industry.
- Actively promotes the mission of the company within the organization.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, or related field
- 12-15 years of progressive Information Technology experience; 5 or more years of management and strategic experience
- 5 or more years of experience with public cloud providers
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively and follow up to ensure achievement of deadlines, outcomes, and results.
- Demonstrate company core values of excellence, ownership, collaboration, and integrity.
- MBA/MS in a related field preferred
