What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deposit Quality Control Specialist - Risk Management position at Credit Union of America?
Role: Improve the quality and accuracy of service delivery, member records and Credit Union data by developing and using monitoring tools to review, monitor and correct core output of recently opened accounts. Identify sources of inaccurate work and develop solutions to correct them. Continually expand the quality control and review processes to catch and correct inaccurate work before the member is impacted.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Reviews new membership accounts and new subsequent savings, checking, money market, certificates and safe deposit boxes for proper set up and documentation.
- Other duties as assigned. Employees shall be trained annually, demonstrate an understanding of, and follow the requirements of the BSA/AML Compliance Program as it specifically relates to their job functions.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience: One year to three years of similar or related experience.
- Education: A high school education or GED.
- Interpersonal Skills: Work normally involves contacts with persons beyond immediate associates generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion. Outside contacts take the form of service to the public (members or vendors) requiring ordinary courtesy in providing assistance and information.
