PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Research and resolve any ATM/DEBIT discrepancies and disputes.
Adjust members’ accounts and communicate the adjustment to the member.
2. Monitor credit and debit card reports for activity daily.
3. Monitor CAMS reports on a daily basis for fraud or card compromise alerts.
4. Manage credit/debit card processing, and the reissue of lost/stolen cards and fraud accounts, and
5. Act as primary liaison between the Credit Union and the plastics processors.
6. Apply and evaluate policies and procedures for the card department.
7. Balance and reconcile the Debit/ATM Dispute Log to "ATM in Process" as new items are added on a monthly basis.
8. Order all Debit/ATM cards (new and re-issue)
9. Ensure compliance with rules and regulations governing plastic cards.
10. Resolve/Answer member questions concerning their statements and activity, and make adjustments when necessary.
11. Set up or cancel preauthorized card payments
12. Balance and reconcile Payroll and Debit/ATM in process GL accounts
13. Process payroll and payroll exception items
14. Process Loans/Visa Credit Cards/ and Plastic Card charge-offs (Monthly)
15. Process Incoming and Outgoing Wires (Daily)
16. When helping members, promote and cross-sell other services.
17. Process file maintenance review including items such as name and address changes, replacement cards, and requests to close accounts.
18. Process pin requests for plastic cards.
19. Provide plastic card security alerts for the credit union.
20. Research denial codes on ATM/Debit/Visa cards
21. Research and resolve any ATM/Debit/ Visa Credit cards discrepancies and adjust members account
22. Balance and post adjustments to various GL accounts
23. Review credit limit increases, name changes, and procedures as they relate to credit maintenance. Have the supervisor review and sign off on maintenance changes.
24. Responsible for mass reissues of VISA check cards and VISA credit cards when CAM alerts are issued.
25. Serves as back-up to the E-Commers Specialist. Reviews and processes all Share Draft and ACH exceptions and ACH originations and adjustments. Research and resolve general ledger accounting exceptions related to member transactions posted on the CORE system.
26. Other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
· A minimum of 18 credit hours of secondary education in business or a minimum of three years in a member/customer service capacity with a financial institution.
· Prior work experience with plastic cards, Sharedrafts/ACH, (Debit/ATM) in bank/credit union preferred and two years lending experience preferred.
