Job Title : Affiliate Operations & Business Development Manager
Location : Plano, TX (In-Office, Full-Time)
Position Summary :
The Affiliate Operations & Business Development Manager plays a critical role in driving growth and efficiency within the affiliate department. This individual will oversee affiliate operations, analyze performance data, and enhance partnerships while actively contributing to business development initiatives. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, optimizing affiliate campaigns, and identifying new opportunities for strategic growth. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a strong background in affiliate marketing, business development, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities :
Affiliate Program Management & Performance Optimization :
- Oversee and manage all aspects of affiliate program operations, ensuring accuracy in tracking, analysis, and reporting.
- Monitor key performance metrics, including traffic, conversions, revenue, and ROI, to assess program success.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to optimize affiliate partnerships and enhance campaign performance.
- Prepare detailed performance reports and dashboards for leadership, providing actionable insights.
- Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
Business Development & Partnership Expansion :
Proactively identify, recruit, and negotiate new affiliate partnerships to expand program reach.Build and maintain strong relationships with key affiliates and partners to drive long-term growth.Develop business strategies to enhance the overall affiliate marketing program and drive revenue.Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute strategies for acquiring high-value partners.Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor strategies, and potential business opportunities.Affiliate Support & Relationship Management :
Act as the primary point of contact for affiliates, providing performance insights, marketing materials, and ongoing support.Address affiliate concerns related to tracking, payments, reporting, and compliance issues.Ensure all affiliate activities align with brand standards and business objectives.Collaboration & Cross-Department Coordination :
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and IT teams to onboard new affiliates and resolve technical challenges.Share strategic insights with internal teams to improve operational efficiency and program effectiveness.Coordinate with Finance teams to manage invoicing, payments, and reconciliations accurately.Technical & Data Management :
Maintain accuracy in affiliate tracking systems, troubleshooting discrepancies as needed.Work closely with technical teams to resolve tracking and reporting issues.Manage and optimize affiliate tracking links, creative assets, and promotional materials.Market Research & Strategic Insights :
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive affiliate programs.Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the company's affiliate marketing and business development strategies.Qualifications & Experience :
Education :
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.Experience :
5 years of experience in affiliate marketing, digital marketing, or business development.Proven track record in growing and managing affiliate programs with measurable success.Experience in negotiating and securing high-value partnerships within the affiliate space.Familiarity with affiliate networks, tracking platforms, and analytics tools is required.Technical Skills :
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Salesforce, Tableau, or similar).Experience with Google Analytics, affiliate tracking software, and project management tools (Monday, Asana, or similar).Strong ability to interpret data and provide actionable business insights.Soft Skills :
