Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst with a strong focus on cost analysis and cost management. This role involves monitoring financial performance, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Operation departments to ensure cost efficiency while maintaining business objectives.
Key responsibilities:
· Cost Analysis & Budgeting:
o Analyze operating expenses, cost drivers, and variances against budgets and forecasts.
o Partner with Corporate Cost Accounting to develop and maintain detailed cost models to support financial planning and decision-making.
o Work with Operation department to track and control expenses, ensuring alignment with financial goals.
· Financial Reporting & Forecasting:
o Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports, highlighting key trends and variances.
o Assist in developing cost forecasts and long-term financial projections.
o Monitor fixed and variable costs, identifying opportunities for improvement.
· Cost Optimization & Process Improvement:
o Identify cost reduction opportunities and support initiatives to enhance profitability.
o Collaborate with Corporate Cost Accounting, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to streamline cost structures.
o Conduct cost-benefit analyses for potential investments and operational changes.
· Financial Systems & Data Management:
o Ensure accuracy in cost-related financial data and maintain financial databases.
o Develop and automate cost-tracking reports using Excel, BI, or other financial tools.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or CPA is a plus
· Experience:
o 1-2 years in financial analysis, cost accounting, manufacturing or supply chain related financial field
o Experience in manufacturing and semiconductor industry is preferred.
· Technical Skills:
o Strong proficiency in Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, macros).
o Experience with financial systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Hyperion, or similar).
o Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
o Analytical & Communication Skills:
o Strong attention to detail with problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
o Excellent communication skills to convey financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
