Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on medical equipment and devices
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with equipment
- Calibrate equipment to ensure accuracy and safety
- Order and maintain inventory of parts and supplies
- Document all maintenance and repairs in accordance with regulatory standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that all equipment is up to date and in compliance with regulatory standards
- Provide training and support to other healthcare professionals on the proper use and maintenance of equipment
- Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of medical equipment and devices
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and guidelines for medical equipment
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
