Graduated from an accredited Surgical Technologist program
Current BLS Certification
Roles & Responsibilities :
Responsible for the preparation disbursement of surgical supplies equipment and instrumentation pre intra and postoperatively
Demonstrate knowledge of principles of asepsis
Demonstrate knowledge of the standards of AORN guidelines
Assume responsibility for clinical competence and professional development
Participate in the responsible management of all departmental resources
Take call as required by the department
Maintain competencies in main OR as well as the CVOR
Skills and Certifications
Certifies Surgical Technologist License
Graduated from an accredited Surgical Technologist program
