Creed Monarch, a reputable US-based manufacturer of precision components, is seeking a Sales Account Manager with relevant experience in the CNC machining industry. Sales Account Manager oversees all customer related activities, is responsible for developing relationships with customers, managing accounts, ensuring customers satisfaction, while developing new business opportunities, increasing sales revenue and profitability. You will be closely working with other teams including Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Assurance, Shipping & Receiving departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Builds long-term positive relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Develops new business by analyzing account potential, promoting Creed Monarch products, services and values, identifying new opportunities, meeting with customers’ in-person and virtually, quoting projects and closing sales by obtaining supply agreements and purchase orders.
  • Obtains, manages and communicates customer commercial and technical requirements, changes and inquiries to Creed Monarch appropriate departments.
  • Manages customer expectations. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.
  • Contributes to developing and implementing sales strategies at the account level and overall company by evaluating market trends and customer needs, monitoring competitive products.
  • Updates her/his job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Contributes to department and organization enhancement by taking initiatives and accepting ownership towards process improvements and exploring opportunities to add value in different areas.
  • Sets, monitors and reports sales metrics on regular basis (e.g. sales revenue, profitability, forecasts) by account, project and opportunity.
  • Develops and maintains sales funnel (customers, projects).
  • Prepares and presents sales revenue and profitability reports, including actual and potential sales, areas of proposed customer base expansion, and customer highlights.
  • Attends industry events and exhibitions to represent the company, generate new leads, continue to stay on top of the industry trends and competition.

  • Working knowledge of manufacturing processes and work centers. Ability to read industrial drawings and to understand other technical documentation (material data sheets, manufacturing routings, material treatment process requirements.).
  • Ability to perform financial analysis: costs, profitability, price development, ROI.
  • Comfortable with cold calling.

Others:

  • Location: On-site New Britain, CT. Candidate to hold a US Citizenship, green card or other appropriate work permit. No visa sponsorship or relocation will be provided by the company.

Compensation: starting at $75,000 annually depending on experience and education. We offer a full benefit package including medical, vision and dental insurance, 401K plan matching program, paid PTO, etc.
