Job Title: Facilities Coordinator
Department: Operations

Job Summary Organize, implement, and oversee the maintenance of the shop building, storage yard, equipment and machinery, DOT maintenance program, groundskeeping, security and overall shop and yard appearance.
Essential Duties –
- Fills, consolidates, and blends chemicals in totes, drums, and pails according to company policy
- Safely operate necessary equipment such as pumps, skid steer, forklift, and power tools
- Package, pick and stage orders for all upcoming shipments
- Assist drivers with properly loading and unloading chemicals
- Responsible for proper hookups from storage tanks to trucks and ensuring the correct chemical is loaded and/or transferred
- Execute on established procedures for the efficient storage and organization of all shop products and inventory
- Responsible for building and yard maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep
- Follows proper hazardous waste disposal procedures
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Maintains facility according to applicable state and local building codes
- Develops and maintains an inventory program
- Plans for the efficient storage and organization of all shop products and inventory
- Responsible for inbound and outbound freight/shipments
- Orders inventory and supplies
- Maintains a preventative maintenance schedule program for applicable equipment and machinery
- Responsible for vehicle maintenance
- Work well both independently and as a team
- Provide excellent customer service

Qualifications
Education/Experience: High School diploma or GED and 2 years of relevant experience required.
Certifications/Licenses: Forklift certification preferred. CDL is beneficial but not required.
Driving Requirements: Valid driver's license required. Follow all FMCSA and DOT regulations, where applicable.
Physical Requirements – Lift, push, pull and carry up to 55 pounds chest high. Tip and move 55-gallon drums, weighing up to 600 pounds with the use of equipment and/or vehicles. Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands. Will require daily standing, crouching and/or kneeling, sitting, walking, driving and transitioning in/out of vehicles. Must be able to talk, hear and feel attributes of objects or temperatures by touching with the skin. Required to have the visual acuity to safely and legally operate motor vehicles, close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment – Indoors and outdoors, with some exposure to environmental conditions such as extreme weather, precipitation and wind. Includes potential exposure to harmful chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil and gases. Noise level is typically moderate, occasionally loud.
Financial Skills – Understands the financial implications of business decisions and inventory control, effective budgeting skills, and value of preventative maintenance program.
Language Skills – Ability to read, interpret and understand documents such as safety rules, safety data sheets (SDS’s), operating instructions and procedure manuals. English language fluency in reading, writing and speaking.
Computer Skills – Efficiently navigate a web browser, mobile applications, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word, SharePoint, Access, etc.).
Work Ethic – Be trustworthy, dependable, respectful, and truthful with a commitment to safety and excellent customer service. Follow policies and procedures and take responsibility for your own actions.
