Essential Duties – other duties as assigned
- Make and post assembly orders
- Inspect and test materials and products
- Ensure sampling techniques comply with safety and quality standards
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures
- Ensure the accuracy of inventory, labels, and product by verifying contents to documentation
- Assist the Facilities and Blending team with pulling and shipping samples and inventory duties
- Provide technical support for audits and inspections
- Assist the Technical Team at the main lab with the following tasks:
- Conduct water analyses
- Perform quality control tests
- Analyze data and report results
- Assist with testing and calibrating lab equipment
- Collaborate with Technical and Account Management teams to develop methodology and carry out special projects as needed
- Recognize and report safety issues
- Maintain clean and safe workspace
Qualifications
Education/Experience: High school graduate or GED. Previous lab experience required. 1-2 years of quality control experience preferred. Previous experience with ICP-OES, Spectroscopy, Spectrophotometry, and Titrations preferred.

Physical Requirements – Lift, push, pull, and carry short distances up to 50 pounds chest high. Must be able to reach, push, pull, and grasp with arms and hands. Will require daily standing, crouching and/or kneeling, sitting, and walking. Must be able to talk, hear, see, and smell.
Work Environment – Indoor laboratory conditions to include potential exposure to harmful chemicals, dust, odors, fumes, oil, and gases; this type of work is conducted under a fume hood. Noise level is typically moderate, occasionally loud. Close-toed shoes are required. Food and/or drinks are not allowed in the lab.
Language Skills – Ability to read, interpret, and understand documents such as safety rules, safety data sheets (SDSs), operating instructions, and procedure manual. English language fluency in reading, writing, and speaking.
Computer Skills – Efficiently navigate a web browser, mobile applications, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word, SharePoint, and Access), and electronic timesheets.
