Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data analytics and a strong background in developing and implementing business intelligence solutions. As a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain BI solutions to help business leaders and stakeholders derive actionable insights from our data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, data engineers, and business leaders, to ensure that the company's data is presented clearly and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement BI solutions using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver appropriate dashboards, reports, and visualizations.
- Develop data models and ensure the data structure is optimized for reporting and analytics.
- Build and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to consolidate and integrate data from multiple sources.
- Analyze complex data sets and deliver insightful analysis to help drive business decisions.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all BI reports and dashboards.
- Collaborate with IT, Data Engineering, and other teams to improve data pipelines and reporting processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with reports, data sources, and dashboard performance.
- Continuously improve BI processes, tools, and techniques to streamline reporting and data access.
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a BI Developer, Data Analyst, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, or similar.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, etc.).
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data integration techniques.
- Experience in developing complex data models and writing advanced queries.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Python, R, cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, etc.
