What are the responsibilities and job description for the Veterinary Kennel Technician position at CREEK VIEW VETERINARY CLINIC, PLLC?
A busy, 5 doctor veterinary clinic needs a self-motivated person to fill a Kennel/Grounds Attendant position.
Responsibilities:
Lifting large dogs in and out of a raised bathtub
Be able to walk and control large dogs
Able to carry up to 50 pounds
Familiar with normal animal behavior and able to notify doctors or technical staff when animals appear abnormal or ill.
Odd jobs such as changing a/c filters and light bulbs, running errands for the clinic, light yard work and other jobs of like nature.
Follow detailed instructions, be honest, and above all loyal.
Requirements:
At least 21 years of age
Valid Texas driver’s license
Prior kennel experience desired, but a motivated and quick learning individual is certainly welcomed.
Work a minimum of 32 hours a week; to include mornings, evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
