As a Jewelry Sales Consultant at Creekside Jewelers, your role is to build strong customer relationships while delivering an exceptional in-store experience. Creekside Jewelers and its predecessors have occupied the same historic downtown Golden, CO, location for over 120 years. We are a full-service fine jeweler offering jewelry and watch sales, repairs, and appraisals. Essential Duties / Responsibilities
You will be providing excellence in service and helping team members do the same. Daily responsibilities may include;
· Personally greet customers and offer assistance by being present in the front showroom when not actively working on other tasks.
· Provide design consultations to assist customers in creating custom jewelry pieces that reflect their vision.
· Handle repair intake and pickups by setting customer expectations and providing effective communication.
· Obtain in-depth knowledge of products to become an expert in the merchandise offered to customers.
· Foster a positive environment where the team supports one another, learns from each other, and makes Creekside Jewelers a great place to work.
· Follow existing processes and procedures for daily operations.
· Assist with maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring merchandise security.
· Collaborate with staff to ensure case presentation meets set standards.
· Perform duties related to inspections and light repairs, such as replacing watch batteries and bands, inspecting jewelry, and cleaning pieces.
· Use store technology, including tablets and computers, to showcase merchandise, check vendor inventory, and fulfill customer product requests.
- Contribute to opening, maintaining, and closing the store, including setting up and putting away merchandise, keeping the space tidy by wiping showcases, vacuuming, taking out garbage, and assisting with general store and office upkeep to ensure a clean and organized environment.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position.
Job Requirements
· Minimum of three years of retail jewelry sales experience, including custom bridal jewelry.
· Ability to work Saturdays and two (2) evenings as needed.
· Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing, and reliably follows through on customer communications and assigned tasks.
· Approachable and a natural people person who enjoys interacting with individuals from all walks of life, has strong relationship-building skills, and actively listens to understand customer needs.
· Willing to learn, brings a positive, energetic attitude, and is a motivated team player.
· Genuine affinity and knowledge of jewelry, with the ability to educate clients without sales pressure while building personal connections.
· Adaptable to various technology platforms, including tablets, computers, and software systems.
· Maintains a professional appearance in business casual attire, as required in a fine jewelry store (e.g., no jeans, athletic sneakers, etc.).
· Able to lift up to 10 lbs, remain on their feet, and be mobile around the store during shifts.
· Assists in maintaining merchandise control logs and follows all security, loss prevention, and store policies.
Work Environment
The primary environment for this role is an open retail environment. Most business is conducted with customers in person or via video call sessions. At times it can get busy, multi-tasking and being comfortable with periods of lots of activity is essential. This role includes speaking with customers over the phone and communicates via email, requiring good communication skills. This role involves mostly standing, showing merchandise, and moving various objects during your shift. It involves interacting with coworkers consistently. This role is not a remote role.
