What are the responsibilities and job description for the PT Activity Coordinator position at Creekside Village/Ravenwood?
Creekside Village is seeking a Part-Time Activity Coordinator to join our senior living community. The ideal candidates must be devoted and compassionate about their chosen careers. The Activity Coordinator will have experience working with independant living individuals and have a highly enthusiastic personality, and be able to develop creative activities for our residents. Must be able to work some evenings, weekends and Holidays.
Responsibilities of Activity Coordinator:
- Conducts and/or assists with assignments and assigned activity groups
- One-to-one activities utilizing interpersonal needs to meet resident needs
- Provides input and assistance with activity planning
- Escort residents to and from activities
- Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, public
- Leads residents group activities.
- Computer efficent.
- Able to drive residents to community activity events.
Qualifications of Activity Coordinator:
- Experience is preferred
- High School Graduate or GED
- Clean driving record.
