What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cattle Pen Puller/ Cattle Receiver position at Creekstone Farms Premium Beef?
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The ideal candidate will contribute to a Creekstone Proud culture through both word and action while adhering to safe working procedures as they assist with the Cattle production processes which may include:
- Moving cattle from one pen to another and into the knocking chute
- Clear communication with coworkers and leaders
- Compliance to humane animal handling practices at all times
- Compliance to all safety regulations and practices
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with USDA
- Gripping, grasping and lifting or pushing up to 100 pounds is required
- Must be willing to work with live animals and tools to move them
- Must be able to withstand hot temperatures and work in a harsh environment
