They are additionally responsible for maintaining plant equipment to supply maximum available uptime for production while ensuring the safest work environment possible.

Essential Functions
- HACCP/Food Safety/GMP
- Understand and adhere to all HACCP, food safety, and GMP guidelines and policies
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Safety
- Understand and enforce all Creekstone Farms PSM, IIAR, EPA and OSHA safety requirements.
- Be knowledgeable of all emergency evacuation routes and evacuation procedures
- Attend documented monthly PSM meetings as directed by the PSM Supervisor
- Successfully complete and maintain required safety training
- Participate in incident investigations
- Administrative Skills
- Monitor and participate in operations in assigned areas
- During the absence of the Refrigeration Superintendent, the Lead fills in for the Superintendent
- Give guidance, support and professional development to technicians
- Assist in scheduling of work according to priorities and direction from the Superintendent
- Ensure that all techs properly use the warehouse processes
- Work with Refrigeration Superintendent, to develop needed training for all techs
- Assist in managing daily shift downtime reconciliation/action items
- Ensure every position in area of responsibility is properly staffed at the start of each shift
- Manage team members break times to ensure rotations are followed and time is not exceeded
- Follow the plant’s continuous improvement process and plan
- All other duties as assigned
- 2 years of industrial refrigeration experience
- 1 year experience with high pressure boilers, HVAC experience preferred
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to present concepts, concerns, and questions in a thoughtful, positive, and professional manner
