Job Summary : JOB SUMMARY
The Fabrication Superintendent is responsible for maintaining quality, production rates, while ensuring the safest working environment possible for the Wastewater department. This position requires essential understanding and control of the wastewater process, accurate record keeping and general maintenance and staffing. They will be responsible for continuously developing and mentoring wastewater team members by using a continuous improvement mentality and will work to perpetuate a “Creekstone Proud” culture through attitude and actions.
- Insure the safe operation of the treatment system for team members and the public.
- Maintain the process system within KDHE parameters.
- Follow all federal, state, and local requirements.
- Obtain and maintain a wastewater certificate for KDHE.
- Have a high school equivalency or above.
- Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Able to respond to alarms or calls 24 / 7.
- Have the ability to operate, maintain, and adjust all equipment and system components.
- Overtime, including weekends and holidays.
- Manage Team members schedules.
- Generate log and track daily assignments for team members including preventive maintenance and work orders.
- Find and order parts.
- Track spending and work within a budget.
- Work with chemical dosing.
- Provide training for team members
- Initiate projects for repairs, maintenance, or improvements from start to finish.
