Full-Time Maintenance Technician – Middleville, MI
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at a thriving, fully occupied 96-unit apartment community in Middleville, MI. This is a full-time position with a starting pay of $18 per hour or based on experience. Key Responsibilities:
· Perform routine maintenance tasks, including HVAC system checks, filter replacements, and equipment inspections.
· Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
· Complete daily service requests promptly and efficiently.
· Skilled in painting, drywall repairs, and general carpentry.
· Prepare vacant apartments for new residents, ensuring they are move-in ready.
· Repair and install household appliances.
· Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
· Provide excellent customer service to residents.
· Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
· Prior experience in property maintenance, preferably in an apartment or residential setting.
· HVAC experience preferred but not required.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
· Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance.
· Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
