What are the responsibilities and job description for the Appliance Installation Technician position at Cregger Company Inc?
The Applicance Installer role is responsible for assisting our Showroom and Branch with the installation of various appliances, including washers, dryers, refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, ice machines, wine coolers, over-the-range microwaves, 46" plus oven ranges, and more. The Installer will ensure these products are installed efficiently and effectively while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor when working with production home builders, as well as custom and semi-custom home projects.
Job Duties:
- Load and unload vehicles with equipment to be delivery and installation.
- Assemble equipment for installation.
- Inspects equipment and structures to identify installation feasibility or problems and defects and communicates potential issues in advance with your supervisor.
- Maintain work site in a clean and orderly condition.
- Educate customers on the proper use and maintenance of the equipment; demonstrate appropriate use.
- Records delivery, installation and maintenance/repair work using the designated forms or database.
- Documents service work to establish the nature of correction.
- Tracks, monitors, and safeguards inventory and supplies.
- Keeps up to date with local and state building codes and with technology and applies knowledge to job.
- Continually maintains working knowledge of all company products and services.
- Must be flexible to changing policies and procedures, as well as varying deadlines.
- Must possess the ability to determine the proper screws, bits, and parts for installation.
- Ability to work with others and as a team.

Pay: $22 per hour
- Ability to perform physical tasks that involve significant use of your arms and legs, including activities such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
- Ability to lift, pull, and maneuver 100lbs. or more with proper equipment.
- Must know how to use power tools
