What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Studies Teacher position at Creighton Prep?
Creighton Prep is currently accepting applications for full-time faculty positions in the Social Studies Department beginning August 1, 2025.
Possible courses, programs, and activities include:
- All levels of college preparatory U.S. History, World History, Psychology, and Economics, including Advanced Placement and dual enrollment courses.
- Coaching or moderating teams, clubs, or other extra-curricular activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in social studies or a related discipline with preference given to candidates who have graduate degrees in these fields.
- Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate or the ability to obtain one prior to August 2025, along with an endorsement in Social Studies.
- Experience with and desire to engage in extracurricular activities such as coaching or moderating clubs and activities is highly desirable.
