We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and inviting environment for our guests. We offer base pay plus communal tips.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialty coffees, teas, milkshakes, and signature drinks.
- Create visually appealing and Instagram-worthy lattes and specialty beverages.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and brewing equipment.
- Educate customers on different coffee and tea options, including flavor profiles and ingredients.
- Follow standard recipes and beverage preparation techniques.
- Maintain a clean and organized coffee bar area, including equipment and supply storage.
- Engage with customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Handle payments, operate POS systems, and process orders quickly and accurately.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a barista or in a café setting is preferred.
- Passion for coffee and attention to detail in drink preparation.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
