What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at Crenlo Engineered Cabs?
SUMMARY :
The Staff Accountant leads and coordinates all activities, transactions and account reconciliations associated with assigned core accounting areas, including but not limited to cash, accounts receivable, inventory, and other areas as assigned. Acts as a liaison between accounting and both internal and external customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Acts as a lead for assigned functional areas, providing guidance and assistance to internal and external customers providing solutions and guidance
- Researches and reconciliates balance sheet accounts monthly.
- Completes and distributes assigned processes and reports within given time frames.
- Interprets, clarifies, calculates, and triangulates inputs and outputs to ensure accuracy.
- Compiles, maintains, and stores documents relating to assigned functional areas per defined retention schedules.
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information (i.e. wages, bonuses, discrete projects)
- Ensures proper controls are in place and followed.
- Prepares and uploads journal entries.
- Develops, prepares, and distributes routine management reports.
- Provide financial reporting on various areas.
- Performs other accounting duties and compliance tasks as required.
- Interfaces with key suppliers, customers (internal and external), Sales, IT, HR, Engineering, etc.
- Tracks and manages key measures including DSO, DPO, Working Capital, Cash flow, and functional area balances.
