Server/Cashier

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently.
• Process cash and credit transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Assist in the preparation of food items, ensuring adherence to food safety standards.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Buss tables promptly to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery and address any customer concerns.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to provide informed recommendations.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment for both customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the grocery store or food service industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Strong math skills for processing transactions accurately.
• Excellent communication skills with an ability to engage customers effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A team player who can collaborate effectively with colleagues in a kitchen setting.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.64 - $14.74 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
