Job Description:
As a Physical Therapist at Crenshaw Community Hospital, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a variety of physical challenges. You will design individualized treatment plans, implement therapeutic techniques, and guide patients on their journey to recovery. Key Responsibilities:
Patient Assessment:
- Conduct thorough evaluations to determine patients' needs and create personalized treatment plans.
- Use diagnostic tools and clinical judgment to assess progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
Treatment & Rehabilitation:
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and exercises.
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, and other therapists.
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed treatment records
Professional Development:
- Stay current with the latest advancements in physical therapy through ongoing education.
- Participate in in-service training and contribute to the overall improvement of our therapy services.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Qualifications:
Education & Licensure:
- Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program.
- Current Alabama licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist.
Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred (new graduates are welcome to apply if they demonstrate exceptional potential and enthusiasm).
- Experience in Critical Access Hospital with swing bed program a plus.
