THE OPPORTUNITY
At Creo Group, we're searching for a motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team and play a crucial role in keeping our machines running strong. This is your chance to play your part in our shared success.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical: Diagnose issues and read prints of basic and advanced electrical systems. Replace components and assist with calibrations or troubleshooting. Complete assigned tasks during repairs to support lead technicians.
- Hydraulics: Diagnose and replace components in hydraulic systems, capable of reading prints and understanding symbols. Occasionally assist with troubleshooting. Support lead technicians during hydraulic system repairs.
- Mechanical: Disassemble and reassemble machine parts with confidence, using common tools. Address most mechanical issues, excluding specialties like welding or milling.
- Robotics: Set up, program, and troubleshoot robots. Create new programs, repair any aspect of the robot, handle common issues, and make minor program changes. Understand the purpose and function of different robot components.
- Process/Injection Molding: Operate and troubleshoot Injection Molding machines, understanding the effect of settings on the process. Produce quality parts and make necessary adjustments for mechanical or process issues. Familiar with the parts and functions of Injection molding machines.
- PLC/Computers: Diagnose and replace faulty parts in programmable controllers, automation equipment, and computer systems. Understand common components and their functions in PLC and computer systems. Troubleshoot and operate systems like rigging, plowing, material systems, and chilled water systems in manual mode. Diagnose and repair common problems to ensure normal operation of these systems.
Qualifications

Education:
- High school degree or GED required.

Experience:
- Minimum two years of combined maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (Injection Molding preferred).
- Proficient in plant shut down and start up procedures.
- Proficient in print reading, including electrical and hydraulic diagrams.
- Knowledge of plant infrastructure, including towers, chillers, dryers, pumps, and other critical equipment for plant operations.

Technical Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and hydraulic and electrical prints.
- Capable of welding and performing mechanical repairs.
- Effective troubleshooting skills, including communication with technical support and parts procurement.
- Emphasis on regaining machines to production status promptly and effectively.

Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Proficient in applying concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, use hands, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch as needed.
- Capable of lifting 40 lbs. over shoulder height and 75 lbs. to waist a minimum of 10 times per day.
- Ability to push/pull 200 lbs. at least 10 times per day.
- Comfortable working at heights.

- Ability to perform job duties with little or no supervision.
- Flexibility to work any shift and mandatory overtime as required.
