THE OPPORTUNITY
At Creo Group we’re looking for a Quality Control Technician to play a vital role in ensuring that all products meet established quality standards. This role involves performing inspections, conducting tests, and maintaining records to ensure compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Product Inspection: Perform in-process and final inspections of products to ensure adherence to quality specifications. Monitor production lines for consistent adherence to established quality standards.
- Testing & Documentation: Entering data and documenting inspection findings in designated logs and reports (Nonconf Log, Incoming Inspection Log, FLY reports, QCTR). Utilizing 8D and 5 Whys methodologies to identify and resolve production issues. Conduct tests on raw materials and finished goods using appropriate tools and techniques. Accurately document inspection results and test data for traceability and reporting purposes. Maintain and update quality control logs and inspection records.
- Collaboration & Communication: Communicate findings and non-conformance issues to production teams and supervisors. Assist in implementing corrective actions and process improvements to address quality issues. Work closely with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams to maintain quality standards.
- Equipment & Process Maintenance: Ensure testing equipment is calibrated and functioning properly. Support process audits and recommend adjustments to maintain consistent product quality.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all company safety policies and ensure quality control practices comply with industry regulations. Participate in safety training and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

Education:
- 2 years of experience in a relevant field.
- Experience with IQMS or other quality modules.
- Experience with measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and scales.
- Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation (IQMS, SPC).
- Ability to manage and maintain documentation effectively.
- Understanding of relevant safety and regulatory requirements.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in applying mathematical concepts to statistical process control (SPC).

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 25 lbs. as needed.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
- Ability to stand or move for extended periods during inspections or testing.
