This position would be part-time Qualified Behavioral Health Provider and part-time Secretary.

Responsibilities :

The Qualified Behavioral Health Provider (QBHP) establishes a supportive client relationship with the goal of empowering clients and their support network to actively participate in mental health treatment. The QBHP will provide clinical interventions to reinforce, practice, and model therapeutic techniques and treatments as directed by the Mental Health Professional (MHP). The QBHP is not responsible for supervision of other staff. Travel is required.

  • Serves as part of the client’s treatment team.
  • Works under the supervision of a mental health professional
  • Completes the necessary training to become certified as a Qualified Behavioral Health Provider (QBHP)
  • Provides timely documentation to support services rendered
  • Provides professional appropriate transportation as necessary to accomplish treatment goals
  • Makes necessary referrals and serves as liaison with other agencies
  • Builds support network around client by working with authorized collateral sources such as parents, teachers, or other community agencies as appropriate
  • Schedules QBHP Supervision and Observations as required
  • Provides clinical supportive interventions according to treatment plan on an off-site basis
  • Establishes positive relationship with client, family, and their support network
  • Models’ stability for client and family with regular sessions
  • Empower client to improve day to day functionality, reducing stressors and increasing ability to focus on treatment goals
  • Encourages client compliance with the established treatment plan
  • Review Caseload Compliance QBHP report at a frequency that will ensure clients are up to date on all compliance issues and are tiered appropriately for QBHP services
  • Monitors / reports client behavior in all environments
  • Attends all required clinic meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Secretary Responsibilities :

  • Professionally administer all incoming calls.
  • Greet guests & co-workers in a friendly, professional, hospitable manner.
  • Open and close visitor area (locking doors, closing blinds, turning off lights).
  • Type memos, correspondence, reports and other documents as assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform a variety of clerical duties.
  • Establish Medical Records on new clients.
  • Completes clerical sections of intake and initial contact forms.
  • Collect fees from clients and input information into computer system.
  • Receives and distributes mail.
  • Monitors office supplies, orders and distributes office supplies.
  • Assist with Physician clerical services as assigned by supervisor.
  • Routes prescriptions to agency clinics as assigned by supervisor.
  • Assist co-worker’s as assigned by supervisor.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, sociology, criminal justice or related field.
  • Completion of QBHP certification
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of developmental stages
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of treatment modalities.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Core competencies in relation to individuals with co-occurring disorders.
