What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Coordinator position at Creole Cuisine?
Creole Cuisine Restaurant Concepts is looking for a talented Human Resources Coordinator! This position manages the administration and implementation of human resources functions, policies, and programs for large restaurant group. He or she will also serve as a liaison between the HR Department and operational leadership, external guests, and vendors. This position also focuses on the departmental organization and database management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (Other duties may be assigned):
- Perform a detailed audit and fully process new hire paperwork, ensuring all information is completed and filed correctly.
- Complete the e-Verify of new team members within the mandated allotted timeframe.
- Coordinate background verification process; advise management on the processing and results of the reports.
- Research, develop, implement, and execute innovative avenues for engaging team members.
- Develop and communicate positive team member relations strategies and retention initiatives.
- Establish and maintain measurement standards to provide meaningful information to increase team member engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
- Manages the design, rollout, and subsequent data recap for team member engagement surveys.
- Assists with team member experience related initiatives and programs, including team member recognition programs and Total Wellness programs.
- Respond to managers’ requests for relevant personnel information by preparing reports from several computer-based systems.
- Build strong relationships with immediate team and other peers.
- Assist with personnel changes within the HCM software.
- Manage all required computer input for the team member file.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws (including but not limited to FCRA, e-Verify, ADA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, etc.), company policies, and procedures in all transactions.
- Reconcile and prepare monthly invoices for timely payment.
- Anticipate the needs of internal customers by proactively providing support and information.
- Stay up to date and knowledgeable of current and upcoming legal compliance changes as well as trends
