What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Crescendo Senior Living?
This position is responsible for providing excellent customer services while serving beverages and meals to patrons seated at tables in the dining room(s) located in Tharon Crescendo LLC Senior Living Communities. The server is responsible for setting tables, bussing tables, washing dishes, and completing cleaning duties.

- Contribute to team effort by being flexible in work assignments; by furnishing support; by taking initiative; and by understanding how this position affects and compliments all other Community positions.
- Able to maintain work pace appropriate to given work load. Perform activities on schedule while maintaining regular attendance and punctuality within specified tolerance.
- Demonstrate awareness of sanitation regulations in handling and storing food.
- Demonstrate awareness of safety rules in the kitchen.
- Take beverage and meal orders.
- Collect order from kitchen, add appropriate garnish, place meal on tray, and serve to patrons with napkins and condiments.
- Serve dining room patrons with the highest level of customer service.
- Sets up serving carts for each meal as required.
- Helps serve meals to residents’ tables following Emeritus procedures.
- Busses tables and washes dishes.
- Clean dining room tables and chairs as needed. Vacuum and clean dining room area.
- Sets tables for the next meal, prepares water carafes, and distributes to each table.
- Performs job duties for residents and with team members in a courteous and professional
manner. - Meets and greets visitors in a friendly, helpful manner (Visitors include anyone who visits the
community; specifically, current residents’ families and friends, prospective residents and their
families, referral sources, vendors and regulators).

- Perform other related assignments as required.
- Be familiar with Tharon Crescendo Senior Living Policies & Procedures Manual and Tharon Crescendo Senior Living Associate Handbook.
- Be prepared to work in any area of the department.

Skill
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have required health screening, TB clearance, and criminal record clearance
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- May be required to hold valid First Aid Certification.
