Primary Work :
Serve as the Data Analyst to support data visualization and analysis needs. This position supports the Office of Environmental Accountability and Transparency by developing dashboards and reports using Qlik Sense.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop visually appealing, intuitive, and user-friendly Qlik Sense dashboards and reports.
- Advise program areas on the most effective visualizations and analyses to achieve their goals.
- Use statistical methods and techniques to identify patterns, trends, correlations, and anomalies.
- Interpret data using techniques ranging from simple aggregation to complex statistical analysis.
- Collaborate with data engineers and others to gather and clean data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and quality.
- Partner with program areas to identify KPIs and develop metrics to track and measure progress toward goals.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and scientists, to address data needs and technical challenges.
- Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data collection, storage, and retrieval processes.
- Monitor data quality to identify issues and propose data cleansing or enhancement solutions.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, visualization, and reporting.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
