Payment for all approved hours will be paid at the straight hourly rate regardless of the total hours worked by the engaged resource.
Job description :
- The primary role is to install and configure the Linux operating system as well as manage and maintain Linux-based systems on the Amazon Web Services (AWS) platform.
- The position will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of AWS services such as EC2, S3, FSx, and more.
- It will also be responsible for System maintenance by reviewing error logs, system backups, monitoring system performance to prevent slowdowns and disruptions, License deployments and setup, may include setting up a Linux Satellite server and deployment manager, and providing any needed technical support.
- This position will provide hands-on technical support for system security monitoring and optimizing the performance of these systems, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Additionally, this resource may be responsible for managing and maintaining other related technologies such as automation using Ansible and Python script.
- Strong knowledge of Linux administration, AWS, and scripting language are required for this role.
- This position is required to be on call for evenings and weekends to meet business needs.
