Crescent City Psychiatric is searching for a licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who wants to join our growing practice!
We are looking for a PMHNP who can conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management in the outpatient setting to adults in Louisiana with depression, anxiety, and ADHD.
We are searching for a provider who is eager to learn and looking to grow with our practice and clinical team! This is primarily a remote position. The provider will see patients in person at our Metairie location at One Galleria Blvd #1900 Metairie, Louisiana 70001 office for the initial consult. The provider will then conduct Telemedicine for medication management visits using our practice management software.
Overhead expenses such as office location, practice management software, telemedicine platform, and marketing, are provided.
We are a self-pay practice, meaning we do not accept insurance, nor do we require providers to be credentialed with insurance panels. The provider may make their own schedule Monday through Friday.
New patients will be screened via intake by our staff and intake will be reviewed with the provider before scheduling an appointment.

Requirements:
- Valid and active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license in the state of Louisiana.
- Current enrollment in Louisiana PCF (Professional Certification Program) medical insurance.
- Proven experience in conducting psychiatric evaluations and medication management for patients.
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and the latest advancements in psychiatric care.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to establish a strong rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-based setting.
- Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and the use of telemedicine technology.
- A passion for mental health advocacy and providing top-quality patient care.
Compensation:
- $150 per psychiatric evaluation session.
- $65 per medication management session.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments of patients to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide medication management and prescribe evidence-based psychotropic medications as needed.
- Collaborate with an on-site psychiatrist to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in accordance with medical regulations and best practices.
- Attend regular team meetings to discuss cases, treatment strategies, and updates on patient progress.
- Implement telemedicine sessions for medication management follow-ups with patients, complementing in-person visits for initial evaluations.
- Adhere to the highest ethical standards and patient confidentiality.
