What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Network School Psychologist position at Crescent City Schools?
The Bilingual School Psychologist impacts students' lives by :
- Coordinating and completing Bulletin 1508 / IDEIA initial evaluations and reevaluations in a compliant and timely manner
- Interacting with school-based and outside related service providers to obtain necessary evaluation components and make team-based eligibility determinations
- Attending and participating in IEP meetings as the evaluation representative
- Collaborating with the school-based Directors of Special Education to ensure that the school complies with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations governing students with disabilities or who are under the evaluation process
- Consulting with school leaders and individual teachers regarding high priority students
- Conducting social-emotional skills groups as needed
- Taking on other tasks, as needed
