POSITION SUMMARY
Position is responsible for supervising on-site construction at a single site or multiple projects. May need to travel to various sites for work assignments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Provide field supervision and oversite for all phases of construction for assigned projects
- Understand and enforce company safety standards and guidelines
- Resolve day-to-day issues on the job site to minimize cost overruns and delays
- Implement and execute Quality Control / Quality Assurance programs
- Supervise all Assistant Superintendents and Subcontractors
- Manage and develop the growth of other team members
- Review and redline blueprints
- Enforce cleanliness standards
- Understand FHA and ADA requirements and guidelines
- Inspect all work during construction daily to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Working with the PM staff, prepare / review all submittals and RFIs
- Assist Project Manager with subcontract negotiations
- Approve subcontractor bills for payment
- Understand, manage and adhere to Project budgets
- Prepare job schedule, communicate and ensure adherence to schedule
- Preside over site construction meetings
- Manage all jurisdictional inspections
- Delegate tasks
