Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Estimator, located in Plano, TX. The Chief Estimator will be responsible for preparing and managing construction estimates, performing quantity take-offs, and ensuring accurate cost management. Daily tasks include collaborating with project managers and planners, analyzing project specifications, and developing budgetary projections. The Chief Estimator will also participate in client meetings, vendor negotiations, and project bid processes.
Qualifications
- Construction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs skills
- Cost Management and Budgeting skills
- Strong Communication skills
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools
- Ability to understand construction drawings and specifications
- Experience in water and wastewater construction is advantageous
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
